QR Ordering System

An Android application written in Java for in-venue ordering by QR scan in bars and restaurants. Customers point their camera at a QR code, browse the virtual catalog, see detailed descriptions of each menu item, build a cart and complete the order.

Firebase Firestore hosts the menus and receives the orders on the venue's side. The project was the outcome of my master's thesis, where the main focus was extensive research on the UI and UX aspects of this type of application.
